Meditation has been around for a very long time especially found throughout religion texts. The benefits of meditation are gaining more popularity. I hear people talking about meditation all the time. It’s no wonder though, check out the amazing benefits…

How do you meditate?

There are a few techniques to meditating and you should explore them all to see what works best for you. My favorite and a classic is just sit there… eyes closed … and do not move!

It’s a bit challenging at first but very rewarding. Thoughts will come into your mind but you just notice them and move on. Eventually you will find the space in between your thoughts. And they may only be a second long but you are noticing them.

Begin meditating slowly if you are new to it. Try 2 minutes every day for your first week. Start making it a habit morning and evening. Just when you awake in the morning and right before you go to bed at night.

The only way you will get these benefits is by starting today. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. After you have completed one week of meditating start adding more time to your morning and evening sessions.

Remember…This is a constant practice. Don’t give up!
